I work with individuals who feel like they are hitting a wall and in need of support with difficult life transitions. These could include embracing parenthood, relational conflict, substance misuse, grief, or uncertainty about the future. My goal is to help you build confidence and feel safe with difficult emotions. We’ll explore where you are getting stuck, what experiences shaped your identity, and what your strengths and limitations are. I also work with couples in conflict to foster stronger connections. I work with all ages, but my speciality is with couples and individuals ages 30 to 40.
I am a former mediator in conflict resolution, a former drug and alcohol counselor, and I have worked in many different countries over the past 30 years. I help clients misusing alcohol to work towards recovery using The Sinclair Method (TSM) alongside exploring underlying patterns of addiction.
I am familiar with the 12 steps and their commitment to complete sobriety, but there are many paths to recovery.
*Currently my practice is further expanding to working with adults with a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis.
